Friday I met some new OKC girlfriends at Pearl's for lunch. It was nice to get out and socialize but made me really miss all my Wichita friends. It didn't help that I was actually in Wichita on Thursday but spend the entire time in my doctors office! Good news is I have pretty much healed from my surgery - I still have some swelling but nothing to complain about.
After lunch my friend Denyel surprised me with a bunch of hand-me-down clothes from her almost 2 yr old daughter. How sweet is that? Kate and I love hand-me-down clothes! Today she wore one of Cara's old denim dresses. It paired perfectly with a pink onesie and some funky tights! As my niece would say, "she looked very fashiony!"
On the job front, I applied for a new position as an Event Coordinator with the Arts Council. I think I would LOVE it! Fingers crossed, please!
Oh and one more thing - tonight is the Big 12 Championship Game we are having some friends over to watch! I think it is going to be a really good game. Go Sooners!
