Yesterday our friends R&L came over to help us move a couch into the new playroom I just finished decorating (which btw by the end of the night the boys decided the entire room must be rearranged). They ended up staying for dinner and not leaving until close to 11pm! It is so nice to be close to our friends again - it feels like no time has passed. I miss my Wichita girlfriends so so much but in Wichita, we never made couple friends - i didn't realize how much jay and i miss and needed that! The older kids (ben is almost 4 and Brooke is 8) played head to head on their Nintendo DSs. The babies took a bath together. Harrison is 6 months younger than Kate. The mommies went to WalMart and the big boys played Wii Wii Wii all the way home. We all had a great time - the funny thing is, they are coming back tonight for New Years Eve. It will be interesting to see what happens when you add a little adult beverages and more sugar for the kids!
Today Jay is working and I am taking the kids out to see my grandparents. I just called them and they said they had been looking forward to it -so have I. I tried to put Kate's hair in pigtails - they aren't perfect but petty darn cute! Something is seriously wrong with my camera - please excuse the blurriness. I hope to have a new one soon.

The pigtails are seriously cute! And I know what you mean about couple friends, they are the best. We miss ours from Florida still til this day. Have a Happy New Year!
i wish i could of gone with you to g&g's. i guess i will take their new granddaughter to meet them when she is born.
