Ugh! Disappearing posts!

I just posted a nice story about the OU-Texas game and now it is gone. Oooooh I don't have time for this. So here is a wrap up!
We had a great time - crazy tired though. We got to the game at 7am!!! It was so hot, sticky, muggy gross! A couple hours later it started to rain. It drizzled right up unil the 2:30 game time. We were drenched! Bless Jay's heart he bought me a visor because my wet hair-sprayed hair looked so gross!!!
Jay and I tried to be respectful to the UT fans. I did ask one girl if i could take her pic. When she asked why I explained that where I come from, UT fans are like mythical creatures, you hear about them, I just didn't know they actually existed! hehehe. Then Jay tried to moon Bevo. He was bent over with his hands in his waistband - thank God I stopped him!
We also indulged in some Texas State Fair Fare before the game. Super yummy Mexican food and the most original and tastey fair treat yet........DEEP FRIED LATTE!!! It was so darn good. I could eat one right now. and again tomorrow.
The game was a heart-stopping fist fight! We knew we would win but they sure made us sweat it out. As fans, we took partial credit. We were so loud, we constantly were drawing them off sides and they were forced to take delay of game penalties because they just couldn't hear over our ROAR! At the end of the national anthem when everyone sings, "the land of the freeeee and the home of the SOONERS!!" The stadium was shaking - it was so loud. Absolutely awesome!
Once th game ended, the annoucer came over and said we had to evacuate immediately because severe weather was approaching the Cotton Bowl - lightning was striking the Cotton Bowl. People started to panic - jumping over walls and pushing people down. Jay and I stayed cool but got so drenched. It rained like crazy! Saturdy night we stayed in Denton and wen right to sleep. We slept until 11am- don't think we have ever done that!!! Thanks Nan for the kid-free weekend! Of course out of guilt, we took them both to Incredible Pizza yesterday and stopped at the Gap outlet to bribe them with clothes. Good parenting, huh?

Great News - our house will be vacant as on 10-27. My birthday! Anyone who wants to come help clean and paint - come on down!!!!

What a fun trip! Too much excitement for this girl. You will have to explain the deep fried latte thing. Don't see how that is possible. Yay!!!! For the best bday present ever.... SPACE! I can't wait to spend Thanksgiving in your new house.
