Church Camp

I think one of the hardest things about moving will be leaving our church. We started going there as we began making the decision to adopt. We had tried a bunch of churches in town but finally felt at home at East Heights. Our pastor wrote us a one of our adoption reference letters and Miss Kate was even baptized there. We went to Halloween parties and Easter parties there. It truly became our church home. This week Brooke and her friend attended EH daycamp in Valley Center. They had a great time although there might have been a near "kitten fight" over a boy. Elijah. or as Brooke says, "ahhhhhhhh Ellllliiijjjjjjjahhhhhhh." He must be one hot 5th grader to get these 2 beauties interest sparked! Anyway tonight was th ebig finale camp out and parents got to go check the place out. Pretty darn cool. Kate had a great time - she got to swim and then she ate 1/4 watermelon, 1/2 orange and her very first smore! She had chocolate, marshmallow, orange and watermelon juice all over her!!! Pretty stinkin' cute until a "stranger" came over to talk to her and she buried her face into mama! UGH!!!!!
Here are some pics from tonight!

That should be enough playtime for the weekend - we need to work on the house so we can get it on the market! Mike and Debbie and Carter have offered to help tomorrow - hopefully that will go well!
