More 4th fun!

After we got home from the pool - both babies slept for hours. Little Miss No Nap slept for 3 hours and so did her daddy! I finally started getting louder and louder trying to wake them up. It was after 6 when they started to stir.
Jay made yummy hamburgers and brats - Kate ate some baked beans a little hamburger and cheese and a PICKLE. Pickles are her new favorite - she loves the long spears. Normally she just sucks them until they are mush but last night she bit a big HUGE hunk - I had to fish it out of her mouth. She got SOOOO mad at me! Daddy gave it back to her and i am not kidding she gave me a look that said, "i got my daddy wrapped - what you gonna do about it." Hmmmmmmmmmmm I sense trouble!
After dinner I presented my 4th of July cake. It's not nearly as fancy as Aunt Bootsy's "uncle mouse cake" but i was pretty proud of it and it tasted good. Neither Jay or the babies even eat a piece - what is up with that? That is why Debbie is my favorite - she ate some. She didn't say it was good but I could tell she was thinking it. Maybe.
About 8:30 we headed over to the Waterfront for fireworks about 8:45 the rain came down. Thunder, lightning and flooding rains. We all got back in the Jeep and watched them quickly shoot off fireworks. It was actually pretty good and definitely memorable.
