I feel like an old woman. I keep walking around mumbling about the rain. Yesterday i caught myself saying that i can't remember a summer this wet - even goin back 20 or 30 years! 20 or 30 years - surely i am too young to know that!
Anyway, good thing we got some swimming in over the weekend because who knows when we will get to go again! I thought I would share some pics. Miss Kate took about 4 or 5 unassisted steps in the pool. She really thinks she can walk and is pretty much done crawling. Atleast until she realizes that we aren't going to keep bending over and holding her hands while she walks. Thank goodness for Brooke - she is much closer to her level and doesn't have to bend as far. Of course sometimes Brooke gets tired and starts to "drag" Kate's feet and or knees. ooops!!!
So today Kate is at school and I am oing to try and catch up on some rest and laundry. This weekend was WAY too much for me. Monday night i was hurting so bad - it felt like i had just gotten out of the hospital! Brooke is going to get to go to Exploration Place with Aunt Debbie and Carter - very exciting for us both! Then this afternoon we are going to play "spa day."
Tomorrow evening we are having some friends over for dinner and a movie. Anyone have any movie suggestions????
