Last night was our annual church block party. We all had a good time. We took Kate's new walking toy so she could get around a little better. Brooke did the cakewalk and won 2 cakes! I guess it is sign of the times but there weren't beautiful homemade cakes made by old church ladies - she won a Ding Dong - what a rip off!
She did get to have her face painted - i thought it was really pretty but it freaked J out. Hehehe - i think it was the rhinestone on her forehead.
J and I organized and refereed the kids foot races and had a great time. We did some races where 2 kids shared one large t-shirt. Seriously funny!
At about 9:30 they started showing Night at the Museum outside on the side of the building. We had never seen it before. Not great but a fun experience. I started getting tired and a little cold but Brooke begged to stay. Sure she did, she was all wrapped up in a cozy blanket! Next thing I knew it was 11:30, the movie was over and both girls were asleep! Oh well - they looked so sweet!
Today Jay took Brooke and Kate to the mall - what a great husband, huh? I seriously need some rest. I have not been feeling good at all and i know it is because i have been overdoing it. Ugh- so frustrating.
Just wanted to say congrats to my mom who got married yesterday in Colorado. I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter!
