We had a pretty good day today - i felt ok - yay! J has been at work since early this morning - this was my first 13 hour day with both girls. We did some light housework and laundry and then put the pool up in the backyard. We filled it up earlythis morning so the heat of the sun would make it warm enough to swim. At 2:00 it was absolutely perfect. Kinda funny, i bought the pool for Kate - it is sooo tiny but big enough for Brooke and kate to sit in it. It is seriously tiny - i got it for $4.00 a the grocery store if that tells you anything. Well the water was sooooooo warm, i couldn't help myself. So me, Brooke and Kate sat in this tiny tiny little pool. We even did laps where we all sat on our bottoms and scooted around in a circle. We "swam" for almost 3 hours!
Of course, everyone was hungry so after baths i started dinner. Kate had a bottle and Brooke wanted to help with our dinner. She created her own - Brooke's Mexican Suprise. I haven't eaten yet but she said it was the best thing ever!!! There is a pretty good chance she is going to be a Top Chef someday or atleast be ON Bravo's Top Chef (we LOVE that show!)
Kate is fussing - better go check on her! More tomorrow - or the next day. :)
