Weekend updates

Man - i think i am going crazy! Stir crazy that is. I am feeling better but as soon as i try and do anything, i am in instant pain. UGH! Very frustrating!

Jay's parents came in this weekend to help out. It gave Jay a chance to get out and stop taking care of me and Kate. Poor guy went to play golf and got drenched! Seriously drenched - it rained and rained and rained! They thought they could wait it out and ran to the nearest shelter which happened to be a woman's bathroom. I guess it was ok. He said they "hunkered down" with some beer and cigars. What a sight! Sorry I missed that.


Jay's mom, Brooke and I did some scrapbooking. Nan (jay's mom) even started and completed her first one ad did a GREAT job. Brooke's book is coming along very nicely and I am working on Brooke's baby book - I am up to 4 years old so I am making good progress too. It was fun and something I could do without hurting.


As far as little Miss Kate goes - she is a firecracker! She is crawling everywhere! Every-where!!!!!! and fast too! She also has started seriously throwing a fit if somethin gets taken away from her or you try and put her to sleep or God forbid tell her no. Why didn't someone warn me about this?? Oh and sometimes crawling isn't good enough se will be sitting down on the floor and just try an "pop up" she looks like a frog. Somehow, she managed to stand up. I just stared in amazement and so did Brooke and Nan. Finally, I realized I needed to grab my camera. She stood long enough for me to do all that and grab this pic. Crazy,huh? WHere did my baby go??
