Sorry again

for our absence but we have been sick, sick, sick. I haven't felt well since Christmas and then right before New Year's I got really sick with a high fever and upper respiratory crap. I sent Kate to daycare and stayed home a day from work. Well the next day (Saturday) Jay got sick so I took care of Kate all day even though I was still feverish then Kate got sick. By New Year's day she had a fever of 101 and was sick sick. We called the on call doctor who helped and took her in the very next day. So all week long atleast 2 out of the 3 of us have been sick. Jay and I took turns staying home with Kate in hopes that atleast one of us wouldn't be fired for missing an entire week! I have to say the one thing so far that I have found myself not to be prepared for was this huge conflict and guilt over home and work. I feel terribly guilty staying home to take care of my sick baby even though no one else can and then if Jay stays home I feel terribly guilty for going to work and not staying with my sick baby. It doesn't help that I feel like crap myself! I can't remember the last time I wasn't running a fever! This mom gig is tough! Did I mention all of my Christmas stuff is still up & my house is a MESS??? We never do that but neither Jay nor I have felt like doing anymore than we absolutely have to. OK, guess I have compained enough.

Before we got sick I did manage to snp a cute pic of Kate in her Christmas present from Santa - She loves it!!
