Rough Week

Well the working mom guilt syndrome has hit me hard! Wednesday, there was no way I could get away from work on time so I broke down and called Jay to pick up Kate. It was just awful - I feel like a bad employee because I just don't care like I used to (or atleast I am trying not to) and I feel like a bad mom because it seems (atleast in that instance), I was forced to put my job first. So yesterday morning I got up at 5:30, took a quick shower and then woke up Kate so we could play. I know, a good mom never wakes a sleeping baby, especially in the morning, but she didn't seem to mind. We laughed and played and had a great time. I dressed her up for school and took some pictures which I then sent to my work and uploaded as my wallpaper. It made things just a little bit easier. We had some good quality time together again this morning and we are BOTH really, really looking forward to the weekend. Here is the pic from our early morning playtime!

Last night, we went to the mall to return a couple of things including some birthday pajamas from Von Maur. I couldn't find any that I liked for under $60 (which is WAAAAYY to much for pj's!) so.....I treated myself to some new Prada perfume. WOW! I love it! I smell delicious!
